We’re a non-profit indie music festival, dedicated to providing a platform for up-and-coming artists based in Berlin – and occasionally from beyond, when they share a meaningful connection to the city. Inclusivity is at the core of what we do, with underrepresented groups championed across both our lineups and volunteer team. The festival is completely self-funded and volunteer-run, with full transparency around costs and income shared with artists and the dedicated venue – Greifi DIY. Over time, it’s grown into more than just a festival – it’s a community. Bands connect, collaborate, organise shows together, and support each other creatively. Alongside the music, there’s skate comps, pizza and vegan hot dogs, face paint, even the occasional proposal. We are currently founding a Gemeinnütziger Verein for the Festival which will be called Cool Kids Productions e.V.
After welcoming over 500 people to the Second Course in July 2025, we’re excited to keep building: more music, more fun, more Cool Kids Menu.
For this year’s edition, Cool Kids Menu are partnering with Marshall, who will support the festival as part of their ongoing commitment to independent music culture. Through their “Keep Live Music Alive” initiative, Marshall supports independent venues, artists, and the local live music scene, helping to preserve the cultural structures on which Cool Kids Menu and Berlin’s indie scene are built.
